What is climbing?:

Climbing and Abseiling, Scotland

Climbing is the activity of ascending a rock, crag or cliff face. Traditional rock climbing is made safe thanks to a system of ropes and belaying. During our climbing sessions participants of all ages will learn basic rock climbing skills and how to improve their movement on the crag face. These instructor-led sessions will give you the confidence and technique to progress on to lead climbing.

What is abseiling?:

Abseiling is an essential skill for any aspiring mountaineer. Participants will love this thrilling activity that involves descending rock and crag faces using ropes and harness. We have some special venues that will leave you with lasting memories.

Who is this for?:

Climbing and abseiling are suitable for a wide range of ages. Minimum age is 10. Whether you're a beginner or a climbing improver you'll enjoy our instructor-led sessions. Climbing can be organised as a separate sport or as a group activity day.

For groups?:

Climbing and abseiling are ideal activities for school groups , families, birthday parties, stag and hen dos and corporate days out.

Angus and neighbouring Perthshire boast a range of fantastic crags that are perfect for climbing sessions. Many of the locations are stunningly beautiful and the rock quality is some of the best you'll find in the world.

Session length: 2 – 3 hours

Price: From £35 per person.

Kit: The price includes helmet, harness, ropes and outdoor clothing if required.
